Having exposed who the Antichrist is as the embodiment of the spirit that opposes Christ, in our previous article, it is now worth assessing how this man of lawlessness rises to power. The Antichrist's 7-year term is prophesied in both Daniel and Revelation, we will focus on the information provided by both books to understand the timing of his reign and how he comes to power.
Daniel chapter 2, there is a prophecy of what King Nebuchadnezzar saw years ago. From verse 31, we see Daniel explaining to the king what he saw and what it means. It was a huge statue whose luminosity was excellent, stood before Nebuchadnezzar, and the shape was terrible or awesome. The head of this statue was of fine gold, its chest and arms were of silver, its belly and thighs of brass, while its two legs were of iron and its feet partly of iron and partly of clay. The statue was finally hit by the stone on the feet and shattered the whole image into pieces, eventually becoming like the straw of summer, the threshing floors. And the wind blew them away so that no place was found for them. And the stone that smooths the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.
Wow! Now let's see the interpretations of these dreams. According to Daniel, Babylon is the head of gold, then there will come another kingdom lower than it (Medo-Persian Empire) and another third kingdom of brass (Greek Empire), which will rule over the whole earth. Now the fourth kingdom (Roman Empire with its two legs – western and easter Roman Empires) will be as strong as iron because iron shatters and subdues all things. Today we are focusing on feet and toes that are part iron and part clay, meaning a transformed Roman Empire. These other kingdoms (Babylon, Persian, Greece and Ancient Rome) have come and gone. The mixture of the whole Roman empire with the [conquered] rest of the non-Roman empire, a solid and fragile part. It is today’s United Nations, the last world governance system that must exist before Christ (stone) comes to establish His kingdom (Verse 44). Before we focus on the specific term of the Antichrist, there are some important points we would like to focus on.
Verse 43 says: “And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay”. This verse implies that those who will mingle with seeds of men are not humans. So, who are they? Daniel saw something close to this in chapter 7:7. Instead of seeing two iron legs of the Roman Empire, God showed him the fourth kingdom in the form of a beast with iron teeth and ten horns comparable to the ten toes of the statue of Nebuchadnezzar. This is also similar to what we see in Daniel 8:22. Although the Angel tends to quickly move on to the Antichrist in both passages, something important is said of the fourth kingdom (Roman Empire) which applies to the shaded fifth kingdom of the feet and the ten toes (ten horns), it is the use of a different source of power rather than his own. This implies the use of demonic power, used to break and shatter all things as we see in Revelation 13:4.
The two feet with ten toes located on the two iron legs signify that the final world governance system is to combine the two main divisions of the Western and Eastern Roman Empire, who derives his power from the prince of the Roman Empire, just as we see the prince of the kingdom of Persia who opposed the Angel in Daniel 10:13 (wisdom is sought here). This system is to be governed by ten ruling divisions (toes or horns).
Do we see this prophecy in life today?
Well! With the abolition of the monarchy and anti-royalism, two legs were formed, and a new world governance system was born. Please remember the phrase: "...they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men..." Do we see the implementation of demon-planned activities by humans or by different governance systems today? We will probably have occasion to return to the satanic [conspiratorial] scheme of the "New World Order", but something needs to be pointed out to a Christian: Today Satan claims his leadership over the world today, subordinated by his demons (fallen angels) and secret societies third. With this hierarchy, human governance systems [as implementers] come much later. So, what about the toes?
While the formation of the ten toes has been speculated as permanent members of the UN Security Council slated to increase from five to ten, further sources speculate the existence of ten [unformalized] ruling nations within of the United Nations system. Either way, Christians must take heed because we do not know the exact day or hour that our Lord will come. One thing is certain: the ten toes/horns coordinate with the entire system to prepare the way for a mighty leader, the very last person to rule the world before Jesus establishes His Kingdom. Daniel 7:8 informs us that another little horn with eyes like the eyes of a man and with a mouth speaking great things will emerge and subdue three of the previous ten horns (= toes). Who is he? The Antichrist! Whichever way the toes come to unite or merge to pave the way for this leader, it should be noted that the current world governance system is a transitional government preparing the way for the Antichrist.
How will this happen and how far is the plan? Well, there is nothing of the enemy that would ever happen in transparency. However, with Satan's speculated larger vision "New World Order", the current world government has begun to work [in the shadow of the nations ] to further the project, of course, to prepare the way for the Antichrist. We hear discussions about officiating a world government with different names such as globalization, internationalization, international cooperations, one religion, etc. World leaders have already created:
- a world bank (central bank),
- a world health organization (ministry of health),
- a world trade organization (ministry of trade and commerce)
- a world food program (ministry of food security)
- UNICEF and UNESCO (Ministry of general and higher education)
- Other ministries and state departments, you know: UNHCR, UNDP, UNFPA, Unido, FAO, etc.
- two world courts: the International Criminal court and the International Court of Justice and an international monetary fund.
- The United Nations is already asking for a world constitution, a world currency, a world income tax system, a world military, a global identification number or mark and a global ethic religion.
Looking from far, a shadowed world government now has its ministries or departments of state as we see.
Do we still really have time? No, we are in the last hour, just a few seconds (if there are), the earth will be struck by a stone. Do you remember the Nebuchadnezzar's statue? This is what Daniel 2:44 says:
“In the days of those kings, the God of the heavens will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, and this kingdom will not be left to another people. It will crush all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, but will itself endure forever." Which kings? The toes!
Brothers and sisters, I will not discuss numerous projects and demon-empowered activities associated with the speculated "new world order". I pray that God's people will see and understand! I don't wish for you to stay here (on earth) to see how the shady global governance system takes power away from states and nations to transition into an official last-minute government of the Antichrist. While triggers may include current movements for climate and environmental protection, man-made disease, wars, engineered calamities and famine; it is certain that the seven-year term of the Antichrist, as previously discussed, begins with a treaty with nations, including Israel, to bring peace to the world and of course stop all this. As world leaders strategize this, one sees that nations (governments) already learned to follow the guidelines of the global system. Let's not go further since it is our hope that the church will have been raptured. My humble ask, brethren, are you also ready for the rapture? That's prayer for you all who chose the Kingdom!
