A Royal Mint Coin Featuring King Charles III and a Snake Has Been Released for the Year of the Snake 2025—Could This Have Prophetic Significance?

Canada, Australia, and the UK have minted coins featuring a snake poised to strike—symbolizing stealth—in celebration of the Year of the Snake beginning January 29th, 2025 (JM Bullion, 2024; Chards, 2024; Westminster Collection, 2024). According to these beliefs, 2025's Wood Snake year is expected to bring opportunities for growth, creativity, and self-reflection (Dr. Simona, 2024;). The Wood element is said to add qualities of resilience and forward movement, supporting personal development, relationship building, and the patient pursuit of goals (China Education Tours, 2024; Carol, 2024).

2025 Coin Features King Charles III alongside a Snake, while 1969 Coin paired the same Charles with a Dragon (Note: Dragon = Snake, see Revelation 12:9; 20:2)

In 1969, during his investiture as Prince of Wales, Charles's first commemorative coin featured a red dragon. The coin bore the Welsh inscription "Y DDRAIG GOCH DDYRY CYCHWYN", which approximately translates to "RED DRAGON LEADS THE WAY" or "The Early Red Dragon" (Numista, 1969; Galata,2020). This phrase is particularly significant as it echoes Wales's national motto: "The red dragon leads the way." Decades later, in a striking parallel, King Charles III appears on new coins featuring a snake for 2025. As these new coins emerge, several questions arise: What prompted these specific Commonwealth nations to coordinate their coin minting? What might the combined imagery of a snake alongside King Charles III symbolize? And could the timing of these coins hold prophetic significance?

In Chinese traditional system, the Snake is the sixth animal in the zodiac cycle, and each animal is believed to influence the characteristics of its year (Wikipedia). In Chinese astrology, the Snake is associated with wisdom and yin energy - the feminine passive principle exhibited in darkness and mystery (Lei, 2024; Merriam, n.d.). The year 2025 is specifically a yin Wood year, often linked to characteristics like diplomacy and covenant-strengthening (Infinite Mind, 2024). The Snake is also associated with qualities such as intuition and a certain degree of secrecy (GeneshaSpeaks, 2023). Those born in Snake years are traditionally thought to be intelligent, perceptive, and graceful—approaching challenges with calmness and insight (Chinese Year of the Snake, 2024). Could it be mere coincidence that the obverse of these coins shows King Charles III's effigy alongside the sixth zodiac animal, symbolizing one who will breakthrough secrecy through soft-power diplomacy? How do we reconcile these characteristics with biblical warnings about the Antichrist, whose number is six? (Revelation 13:18) What prophetic implications might arise from this convergence of symbolism on these Commonwealth coins? Couldn’t this convergence of symbols, as Bong (2024) wisely suggests, indicate the approaching tribulation period? What connections might exist between these symbols and King Charles III? Could these signs point to him being the prophesied beast—the Antichrist who would rule the world with power bestowed by the dragon, the ancient serpent? Let's examine his profile in relation to Scripture carefully and objectively, maintaining a balanced perspective.

As we delve into this exploration, it's important to note that we are not casting judgment or accusing King Charles III of being the Antichrist. As Scripture states, the Antichrist will be revealed in his time once the restrainer is removed, so we cannot decisively appoint anyone to that role until then. All we can do is discern the signs of the times and prepare ourselves adequately.

Prince Charles was born on November 14, 1948—exactly six months after Israel became an independent nation on May 14, 1948. His emergence coincides with what many believe to be the great apostasy within the latter-day of the apostolic church. While prophecy clearly indicates that the Antichrist would emerge after Israel's rebirth (Isaiah 66:8, Ezekiel 37:21-22, Matthew 24:32-34), this fact alone serves merely as a starting point for our reflection.

King Charles III's name has drawn significant scrutiny. The Bible provides a specific numeric identifier for the Antichrist: 666 (Revelation 13:18). Using the traditional Hebrew-Greek gematria system employed by early Church fathers, the title "Charles, Prince of Wales" yields the number 666 in both English and Hebrew calculations. In English gematria, where A=6, B=12, C=18, etc., the letters in his title sum to 666. Similarly, when transliterated to Hebrew and calculated using the ancient gematric system, his title also equals 666 (Revelation Blog, 2007; Bong, 2024). While the mark of the beast is primarily spiritual rather than physical, and various interpretations of gematria exist, this numerical alignment using the traditional system merits thoughtful consideration.

What about his royal symbolism? Revelation employs vivid imagery, including a red dragon that symbolizes Satan and his earthly agents (Revelation 12:9, Revelation 13:2). Intriguingly, the red dragon serves as the heraldic emblem of Wales. Tim (1988), in his book "The AntiChrist and a Cup of Tea", notes that "This prince's coat of arms also bears the red dragon described in Revelation 12 and 13, specifically representing Satan, and he was seen globally as he faced this dragon in 1969 to be coronated as 'Prince of the Red Dragon' (i.e., Satan)". During Charles's investiture ceremony as the Prince of Wales in 1969, he swore allegiance while kneeling before the throne representing the Welsh Red Dragon, then sat at its right side surrounded by red dragon banners. A commemorative coin was minted featuring him alongside the red dragon. His coat of arms is particularly noteworthy, as it displays not only a red dragon within a ring chained to a white horse and rider (symbolizing the "little horn"), but also includes a rampant guardant lion with leopard-like features and bear-like feet, matching the beast described in Revelation 13:2. The heraldic reading from left to right states "I serve the red dragon," and notably contains seven heads with seven crowns (fulfilling Revelation 12:3-4) and ten lions, possibly representing the ten leaders whom he, as the eleventh, will rule over while rising against three. Could these detailed symbolic connections to prophetic imagery, following him from Prince to King, have deeper significance?

Scripture predicts the Antichrist will emerge as a prince from the people who destroyed Jerusalem and its Temple (Daniel 2:40-43, Daniel 7:7-8, Daniel 9:26-27). The Roman Empire, specifically the forces led by Titus that included British and Germanic tribes under the flag of the red dragon, fulfilled this prophecy when they destroyed Jerusalem and the Second Temple in AD 70 (Luke 21:20). King Charles III's connection to this prophecy is multifaceted: he held the title "Prince of Wales," linking him to Britain—a former northwestern province of the ancient Roman Empire, and his German ancestry connects him to the Holy Roman Empire through his descent from Charles V. This German lineage is particularly significant given the British Royal Family's historical ties to Germany, including their documented sympathies with Nazi Germany (Vanity Fair, 2023; Watcher, 2024). As a descendant of Charlemagne, he has legal claim to the crown of the Holy Roman Emperors and significantly, is one of seven rulers named Charles, positioned to be the eighth Charles of the revived Holy Roman Empire which ceased in 1806. This lineage is particularly noteworthy as Daniel 7:24 specifically requires the Antichrist to rise from within the boundaries of the ancient Roman Empire, and Revelation 17:9-11 speaks of seven kings and an eighth who belongs to the seven. Could these historical and genealogical connections fulfill the prophecies about the Antichrist's origins?

Additionally, Daniel 7:8 describes the Little Horn as the final Antichrist—a figure who works behind the scenes to gain greatness and influence. In ancient times, the term "little horn" was specifically linked to royal princes. The documentary "Prince Philip—The Plot for a King" (watch it at RoyalWorld) shows how the Royal Family prioritized producing a male heir to secure Queen Elizabeth's throne. Notably, Bong (2024) and the Logical Hierarchy (n.d.) carefully observed that Prince Charles's coat of arms displays the emblem of a "little horn" riding upon a white horse.

Instead of the God of Israel, the Antichrist honors the god of fortresses—a deity who manifests through temples and religious places of worship, contradicting the God of the Bible who "does not dwell in temples made with hands" (Daniel 11:38-39, Acts 17:24). The Antichrist shows no regard for the God of his fathers or any other god, but "magnifies himself above all" (Daniel 11:37). This characteristic appears to align with King Charles's shift from the traditional royal title "Defender of the Faith" to "Defender of Faiths," suggesting a departure from his predecessors' commitment to Christianity. Furthermore, Charles is a follower of "sacred geometry," which teaches that one can find a universal connection to God, beyond doctrinal differences between faiths, through sacred buildings whose architecture incorporates specific geometric patterns, including the five-pointed star or pentagram—symbols associated with satanism and witchcraft (Prince Charles, 2010 p.114-18; GotQuestions, n.d.).

His embrace of Earth-based spirituality (Gaia) and Mystery Babylon religion is evident in his statements and actions. Like his father Prince Philip, Charles has advocated for population control and extreme environmental measures. In his 2010 book "Harmony," he explicitly states :"We cannot make the equation balance, unless we seriously address how we stabilize and even reduce the human population of the world…" This statement raises serious moral concerns about his advocacy for unprecedented population reduction. As documented by Veon in "Prince Charles: The Sustainable Prince"(1999), he his linked to the property rights groups of the UN agenda and consistently positions himself as a global savior. His self-proclaimed mission stems from what he describes as a duty to "heal the mortally wounded soul" so that "the temple of our humanity can once again be lit by a sacred flame"(Lorimer, 2004 p.235). Could these messianic overtones and pantheistic worldview in King Charles III's statements and public persona align with the biblical description of the Antichrist's self-exaltation and global influence?

Daniel 11:21 also describes the Antichrist as a despised crown prince who ascends to the throne. This aligns with Charles's significant unpopularity as crown prince, as polls showed that 60% of Britons preferred Prince William to succeed Queen Elizabeth II instead of Charles (Stack Exchange Politics, 2018). The Netflix series *The Crown also* portrayed Charles as a particularly unlikeable character, reflecting broader public perception. Adding to this is the fact that modern monarchies, including the British monarchy, hold only ceremonial power, with actual governmental authority resting with the Prime Minister and Parliament. Could this align with the prophetic description of the despised prince who rises to power?

Additionally, Scripture describes the Antichrist as a man of sin (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4) who "Neither shall he regard.... the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all" (Daniel 11:37). Some scholars have interpreted the phrase "nor the desire of women" to suggest that the Antichrist either rejects natural relationships with women or practices self-denial or possibly identify as a homosexual. Prince Charles's complex relationship with Princess Diana is well-documented. During their engagement interview, when asked if they were in love, Diana replied, "Of course," while Charles added, "Whatever in love means," indicating apparent emotional detachment (Gonzales, 2020). Although his subsequent marriage to Camilla presents a different picture, it's noteworthy that the name "Camilla" originates from an ancient Roman term for a young ceremonial attendant (Rosenkrantz, 2024). As Bong (2024) wisely puts it: “Charles’ marriage with Camilla may conceal his beliefs on homosexuality but his Sustainable Markets Initiative clearly advocates for the embracing of homosexuality across the globe.” (See also, Clarence House, 2022)

Scripture describes the Antichrist confirming a covenant with many, including Daniel's people—Israel—for seven years (Daniel 9:27) and will wield authority over all nations, establishing a global economic and religious system (Revelation 13:7). Coming from a family deeply embedded in freemasonry for centuries, King Charles III now leads an alliance of 56 Commonwealth nations spanning approximately 23% of the world's landmass and representing nearly one-third of the global population (Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, 2024). His involvement in various global initiatives is extensive, including the World Economic Forum's Great Reset agenda (WEF,2020) and plans for a one world government, where he has been a key advocate for transforming the global economic system into a new global order. His leadership role in the World Economic Forum has given him significant influence over international economic and environmental policies. Notably, he has called for reform of the global capitalist system and was the first public figure to support human RFID technology by microchipping his sons William and Harry in 1995, while collaborating with companies to extend RFID technology across global trading - a technology that could potentially enable the prophesied mark of the beast system where no one can buy or sell without a mark (Revelation 13:16-18).

Additionally, his involvement includes significant roles in major international agreements and efforts toward establishing a one world religion based in Jerusalem, with plans for a rebuilt temple under the British Crown's authority. Notably, he made history by appearing as a hologram at the 2008 Abu Dhabi energy conference - a technological breakthrough that some interpret as foreshadowing the prophesied "living image" through which the Antichrist will be worshipped globally (Revelation 13:14-15). He played a key part in the Oslo Peace Accords (1993-1995), attending significant events including Shimon Peres's funeral (The Guardian, 2016) and making donations to the Peres Center for Peace (The Jewish Chronicle, 2016). He continues to be viewed favorably by Jewish leaders through his work with the World Holocaust Forum (Yad Vashem, 2020). Since 1992, he has campaigned for all nations to join a global revolution, with his influence extending to the United Nations' Agenda 21 (UN General Assembly, 2015) and his own Sustainable Markets Initiative (The Sustainable Markets Initiative, 2020). His 2010 book "Harmony" reveals his vision for mankind, while his advocacy for global agreements aligns with the framework of a covenant affecting nations worldwide, including Israel. King Charles also made opening remarks at COP26 in Glasgow, Scotland (UNFCCC, 2021), where a significant seven-category, seven-year covenant was presented. While the final confirmation hasn't occurred, he supports comprehensive frameworks through the Green New Deal, Build Back Better plan, the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (United Nations, 2015), the Terra Carta mandate, and his Sustainable Markets Initiative. Israel has agreed to follow these goals through a detailed 429-page UN document from 2019. The current plan aims for worldwide agreement, with the proposed seven-year covenant known as Laudato Si (Vatican, 2015) targeting completion by 2030.

According to Scripture, the Antichrist positions himself in place of and in opposition to Christ (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4; Daniel 11:36-37). He establishes a global cult of personality that surpasses all previous leaders and declares himself to be God in the rebuilt temple of Jerusalem (2 Thessalonians 2:4). Notably, he must fulfill the messianic expectations of both Jews (John 5:43, Luke 21:8, 1 John 2:18) and other religions (Revelation 13:8). As Anderson (1900) explains in "The Coming Prince," the Antichrist will present himself as a messianic figure with seemingly divine authority.

King Charles III has expressed views that align with pantheistic ideology, suggesting the natural world is not separated from but identical with divinity. He believes he was born with a specific purpose—to save the world (Schlesinger, 2010; Veon, 1999). As Schlesinger (2010) observed: "He is under the impression he has been sent to save the world and deliver us from our sins. It's quite delusional." Many progressive thinkers now view him as a visionary and quasi-messianic world leader (Tuominen, 2018). Notably, Charles was circumcised by a Jewish rabbi and claims lineage back to King David of Israel (The Jewish Chronicle, 2023), potentially fulfilling Jewish messianic expectations. Additionally, he claims or is purported to descend from Muhammad's lineage through Sharif Hassan bin Ali of Mecca, as confirmed by Burke's Peerage, positioning him to potentially fulfill Islamic Mahdi prophecies as well (Stephens, 2022).

Just as prophetic Scripture indicates the Antichrist’s deceptive nature will be revealed to the Jews in the middle of the Tribulation—when he arrives in Jerusalem to abolish sacrifice and oblation in the third temple during Passover and instigates the satanic-inspired persecution of Jews for the following 3½ years (Daniel 8:11,Daniel 9:27,Daniel 11:31,Matthew 24:15,Luke 21:20,2 Thessalonians 2:4,Revelation 11:2,Revelation 12:14)—Despite his public support for Jewish causes, King Charles's private letters have revealed his disdain for the Jewish state of Israel (Times of Israel, 2017), his secret support for the openly antisemitic Hamas, and his desire to broker peace between Israel and Iran(Bong,2024). Could these documented attitudes toward Israel, combined with his diplomatic efforts in the Middle East, foreshadow a future role in prophesied events concerning Jerusalem and the temple?

As we examine the recent minting of King Charles III's coin featuring the snake symbolism for 2025, several questions arise: What significance lies in the timing of this coin's release, particularly as it coincides with the Chinese Year of the Snake? Could the serpent imagery, historically associated with both wisdom and deception, carry deeper prophetic implications? Moreover, how does this symbolic representation align with Charles's documented involvement in global initiatives and his self-proclaimed mission to "save the world"?

The year 2025 holds particular significance in many prophetic interpretations, with numerous predictions pointing to major global transformations. How might Charles's extensive influence in international affairs - from his Terra Carta initiative to his involvement in interfaith dialogue and environmental advocacy - play into these predictions? Furthermore, what are we to make of his unique position as head of the Church of England, his claimed lineage from both King David and Prophet Muhammad, and his persistent advocacy for a one-world religious system?

While these observations warrant careful consideration through the lens of biblical prophecy, we must maintain our spiritual discernment and primary focus on Christ. As believers living in these prophetically significant times, we are called to be watchful and sober-minded (1 Thessalonians 5:6). Rather than becoming consumed with identifying the Antichrist, shouldn't we instead strengthen our spiritual preparedness and share the Gospel with greater urgency?

Let us remember Jesus' words to "watch and pray" (Mark 13:33), maintaining an attitude of spiritual vigilance while avoiding speculation that might distract from our primary calling to be faithful witnesses for Christ. As we observe these developments, may we be found ready, with our lamps full of oil, eagerly awaiting our Bridegroom's return.
